Track your account with a simple text message.

Stay on top of your account without logging in to Mobile Banking with E-Central’s Text Banking. Simply send a text message command to view balances and transactions or find an ATM near you.

Text Commands

To receive text messages from E-Central Credit Union, simply text these commands to get quick account information:

Send Text Command to 39872 Description
BAL Get the available balance for your account
HIST <account nickname> 
Example: HIST CHKN 		View your recent transactions for a specific account.
ATM <ZIP code>
Example: ATM 94111 		Get a list of the closest ATMs by zip code.
BRANCH <ZIP code>
Example: BRANCH 94111 		Get the address to our Pasadena, CA branch. 
STOP Stop text banking and opt-out of text alerts.
HELP Get a list of text commands and our customer service number.

What's a Texting Nickname?

A texting nickname helps you identify between your credit union accounts within your account text messages. A nickname can be set up in E-Banking, under the “mobile” menu option, or using Mobile Banking in the “My Accounts” tab. Please note, a mobile nickname can be different than an account nickname that you may have set up in the “Settings” menu option in E-Banking.

Set Up Text Banking

From Your Android™, iPhone® or iPad® App

To activate and begin using text banking, you can enable this feature using E-Banking or Mobile Banking. Once activated, we will text you a welcome message with simple instructions to get started.

Set up Text Banking using E-Banking

  1. Sign into E-Banking
  2. Select the, “Mobile” link.
  3. If you are a new Mobile Banking user, agree to the terms & conditions, then select, Text Banking. If you are an existing Mobile Banking user, simply select the phone number you want to add by selecting, “Change my Mobile Banking services” in the dropdown box on the right.
  4. Enter your mobile phone number and tap, “Continue”. You’ll receive a text message confirming your activation.
